The Saturday November 17th hammer-in will feature Mike Lanham of O'Fallon, MO. Mike is a regular demonstrator at our Spring and Fall festivals. Mike forges a lot of items for the Rendezvous demonstrators and will forge a cable tomahawk.
Lunch will be available at noon in the shop meeting room. Larry Pitman will have his "tangy" fire house butter bean soup. And Beanie will have a large roaster of beef stew. Raylene and others as usual will have plenty of high calorie goodies to snack on.
We will hold our auction about 1 pm after the lunch break. Please donate a blacksmith related item for the auction. Proceeds from the auction are used to buy equipment for the shop such as the old bradley Helvie hammer, the 50 lb. Little giant, the Williams and White hammer, and provide coal and steel for use in the shop.
Open forges and individual instruction during the afternoon.
